Commodore's Enchanted Isle

New Orleans - Grand Cayman, Montego Bay, Cozumel

Commodore's Enchanted Isle sailed out of New Orleans for several years.  It was very popular with residence along the Gulf Coast.. very convenient for a quick getaway to the Western Caribbean.  This was my very first cruise, and the only one I have done on my own.  It was really fun and the food was surprisingly good.  A couple of years later, I went on this with Stephen and a couple of friends from Houston when we met up with Hurricane Mitch in Cozumel .. didn't take a lot of pictures on that trip but a few, our itinerary was greatly deviated and it was questionable as to if we should have gone to sea at all, it was an adventure.

Commodore does not exist anymore, and I will wonder what will become of the Enchanted Isle, I will have many memories of her.

The Captain of the Enchanted Isle was going to have us dock in Cozumel over night, but a couple of hours later the Mexican government demanded our departure .. they didn't want to be responsible for us if the storm turned toward the island of Cozumel.
