Chile - Temuco and Lake District
After spending a few days over New Year's in Panama we headed to Santiago, Chile.  Once we arrived, we took TourBus south to the entrance of the Lake District.  We only had a couple of days before we had to head back to Valparaiso to meet up with Celebrity's Zenith for our cruise around the horn to Buenos Aires, Argentina.

We stayed the Holiday Inn Express in Temuco.  This was a delightful hotel, lovely breakfast and free internet access  provided.

Budget picked Stephen up at the hotel with our rental car, we drove south towards the Lake District.

 The day we were taking the night bus to Valparaiso to meet up with the Zenith, we drove north out of town and saw another volcano in the distance.
 

After a delightful couple of days around Temuco, we took Tourbus overnight to Santiago.  We had "Cama" class, it was quite comfortable, the seats almost have a full recline and we were provided with snacks and drinks, blankets and pillows.  We had a decent amount of rest before arriving our departure port city of Valparaiso.
