CommentsGreat web site. Inspired us to update ours -- soon. Loved your photos. Looked like a great trip. We love Hawaii but have never cruised there. We were on Mercury's sister ship -- the Century -- in '97 in the Caribbean. From your fellow Northwesterners down here in Portland. -- Rich & Kathy (richkat817@yahoo.com)
CommentsWell folks you have a real great website here, great pic's also. A lot of the Hawaii pictures brought back a lot of memories as i was in Hawaii last year at this time for a 15 day tour of 4 islands, i was at a lot of the places you were at, sure looked great seeing them again. I also cruised on the Mecury 2 years ago to western caribbean , and i loved the ship, loks like it hasn't changed a bit from the time i was on it, i really miss cruising, havn't been in 2 years. I am single and it is hard to get a companion to go along, maybe i just need to try it alone and see what happens. Again thanks for bringing back a lot of memories, and happy cruising. Norm
CommentsTina, I found your site from your post on RTC. I enjoyed reading about your Hawaii cruise aboard the Mercury. My husband and I sailed the Mercury from San Diego to Alaska two years ago and loved it. The Hawaii cruise sounded like a good cruise for the future. I'm just worried about the five days at sea across the Pacific! Kay Lynn akeka@home.com
CommentsHI Tina and Steve, Bonnie here from Canada. Great pics from the cruise, thanks for giving us the chance to share your site, nice job!!
CommentsLooking at all of the pretty pictures puts a smile on my face, and it's all your fault! I can almost smell the salt air. It's almost like I was on the vacation too, where's my peice of anniversary cake? I just want to know how many meals did you order more than one main dish and double deserts? All the calories you used hiking were sacrificed on board, I'll bet. If we ever do this trip, remind me to do the hiking last. And give me plenty of film if you want me to walk very far. How was the fishing? Rosie
CommentsTina, Jim and I love your website. The cats are really cute but the"Mercury" RS was the tops. Donna
CommentsEnjoyed your web page and cruise pictures. My husband and I will be traveling on the Mercury from Buenos Aires to Valpairaiso, Chile, in February. Wish it were our 10th anniversary - it's more like our 45th.! This is our first Celebrity cruise - we've don several Holland America(2), Royal Olympic(3) and Cunard(1). Any comments you have on the ship (we won't be in the Royal Suite!) would be appreciated. mcrocket@pei.eastlink.ca
CommentsHey, I was here Tina. Pretty impressive web site you have. I love the little kittens and I'm so sorry about your cat. I can understand how you feel as I had a very sick cat too and put him tom sleep six months ago,but there is always a little face out there that needs someone to love. Anyhow your cruises are beautiful makes me want to take one myself. Maybe one day I will but for now I just have so many things to do. The only birds that I get in my yard are the peasant (poor birds of the neighbourhood) oh well. Anyhow your web site is great. take care for now, martine martinecritchlow@hotmail.com or martinec@cae.com

CommentsHi Tina Thanks for putting together such a great trip diary. We are doing the Buenos Aires to Valparaiso cruise on the Royal Princess Feb 22. Your posting and tips were very timely and informative. We just live up I-5, in Vancouver (Delta). One question: Were your port excursions all from the ship or did you use some local tour companies? Keep up the good work. Lorne & Sheila Turcotte lorne.t@dccnet.com

CommentsWhat a great site! I came because we're doing Cape Horn in Nov on NCL. I was curious - since I'm also flying on Continental FF tickets, did you have to spend the night in Panama coming back from Buenos Aires?? Hopefully, you'll have some more pics up - I'm taking my digital, so I'll try to reciprocate next year. Thanks for the song, too. Sounds like you've had an interesting career. CommentsDear Tina, I just visited your web site. I love your design on there and it seems like you have had a very diversified life. I especially love the photography which shows all these beautiful rocks and the one with the birds on it. After reading about your work in radio etc., I maybe understand why you have earphones on while doing your beautiful glazing. I sometimes feel like using those things myself to just have private time. I think your ceramic work looks very interesting. I hope to see you again at the studio, while we are creating some awesome pieces. Regards, Martha Schindler
CommentsDaryle Ann Hise - daryleann@iwon.com We are taking this cruise in Nov 03 (NCL) and am very interested in the shore excursions you did (and didn't) take, as well as what you "wish you had done" in various ports. Will keep looking to see new photos. Thanks for this opportunity!
CommentsReally enjoyed your South America pictures and commentary. I was on Celebrity's Mercury in March 2002, so it brought back lots of wonderful memories! Happy travels, Steve.
CommentsRE:Celebrity Zenith 1/5-1/19, 2003 Tina and Steve, Really enjoyed your comments and pics from OUR cruise. I think my hubby, Don took the pic of you both at the cape during the champagne celebration when he couldn't find me anywhere on the ship. Great pic of Terri and Charlie, too. Glad you got a pic of Chris, too. What a great cruise director! He helped make the trip special. I have about 800 digitals, too. Since I just bought the Sony Mavica before I left, I am still trying to figure out the ins and outs. I wrote a brief discription of some of the excursions and their costs. We did all of them on our own based on some of the previous posters/cruise critics recommendations. What a wonderful way to find out about the unknown. Well, thanks again. Maybe we will see you on another cruise someday soon. Jean and Don Quaker City, OH dondon@1st.net Lovecruising

CommentsTina, Nice web site! It takes me back to our cruises although not as many as you've been on. We've been on Celebrity Century western Caribbean in 2002 and Celebrity Inifinity Alaska 2004. They truly know how to treat people. VikesMike www.geocities.com/vikesmike/homepage.html vikesmike@yahoo.com

CommentsWonderful trip. Did Honolulu to San Diego in October, 2004. Just wonderful. The ship is beautiful and Hawaii is unbelieveable. Thanks for sharing Bettyanne
CommentsI love your pictures, but am having trouble to see those of Maui. Somehow the link doesnot work in my PC. Greeting from The Netherlands Ine.
CommentsEnjoyed your pictures very much. We were on the Infinity in Nov last year Ensenada to Hawaii, so your review brings back fond memories. We're looking forward to another trip on the Infinity when they start offering the one way trips as we prefer to spend an extra week in the Islands. Bug_dan
CommentsI enjoyed your pics and comments. I will be taking a 15 day cruise on Island Princess to Hawaii in the coming year. Thanks for sharing!
CommentsThanks Tina for sharing your great photos with us. You have quite an interesting website. Really First Class! I ran across it while doing research for a possible future cruise to Hawaii, in the CruiseCritic site. You helped us to make our minds up and you helped the Cruiseline make a sale probably! (you should get a commission!) We are from the Houston area which you probably know well judging from your Bios. Email address is a68vet@yahoo.com and my handle is the same a68vet on cruisecritic and webshots. THANKS!

CommentsMY WIFE AND I ARE GOING ON OUR "WESTERN CARIBBEAN" CRUISE ON APRIL 11-22 ON THE CELEBRITY SUMIT, STOPPING AT KEY WEST, FLORIDA, COZUMEL, COSTA RICA,COLON PANAMA, ARUBA AND GRAND CAYMAN. WE WOULD LIKE TO HAVE A LIST OF THE SHORE EXCURSIONS AVAILABLE AT EACH PORT, THE PRICES AND A LITTLE ABOUT EACH EXCURSION, AND THE HOW MANY HOURS THE EXCURSION IS. THIS WAY WE CAN DECIDE WHAT EXCURSION WE WANT TO GO ON BEFORE WE GET ON THE SHIP AND STAY WITHIN OUR BUDGET. THANK YOU!
The cruise line will send you a book of excursions and prices, and of course on Celebrity's website you can browse and book your excursions online at www.celebrity.com - Personally, I'd enjoy a walkabout day in Cozumel maybe take a cab to Chankanab for a beach day, and lagoon walks. If you like to snorkle you can take a trip through the ship or for cheap and cheerful you can snorkel on the beaches near the ship. Grand Cayman, definitely Sting Ray City if you've never been .. nothing like it! Enjoy some rum cake from the Tortuga Rum factory. Never been to Costa Rica and only stayed in Panama on the Pacific side, check the cruise brochure for their suggestions. Have fun!
